My fee for a one-hour session is $190.00 (subject to change). At times, a sliding fee scale can be available upon request. This is dependent upon availability of spots.

The first session is often longer but I charge my same fee. We would discuss your concerns, and goals. We will go over specific forms together including: Office Policies/ Procedures, the Collection of Personal Health Information in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), issues of Confidentiality, other pertinent information, an Intake Form, as well as providing you with a receipt for the session with my registration number, as a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW.

You may have extended health benefits or insurance coverage under the title Registered Social Worker, Masters of Social Work, or Social Worker. As a University Student you may also have coverage. Coverage is generally for a specific amount per hour, or per year. Please review any pertinent information regarding your coverage.

 

Registered Social Workers are also deductible as a medical expense under the Income Tax Act, through the Canada Revenue agency (CRA). That would usually require one receipt for all sessions attended. 

 

Missed sessions without 24 hours notice, or cancellation of sessions without 24 hour notice, will be charged in full. These sessions cannot be used for insurance coverage.
